Handling Complaints

A complaint from a customer is an opportunity to cement the shopper baker relationship. We as bakers are selling low dollar value items therefore we do not have the considerations that apply to businesses selling high price items such as cars and white goods. We can offer full cost refund plus replacement of product at little cost to our business. This action will encourage dissatisfied customers to come to the bakery rather than take their dissatisfaction to neighbours and friends. The opportunity then exists to correct any flaws in our product, delivery, service, etc.. All such situations should be handled by the most senior person available at the time.
